Business & Real Estate: Values, Incentives, Advertising etc.

EXCULSIVE in any market is discriminatory but one of the JH firms:   “Protesting as # 1 Jackson Heights’ EXCLUSIVE Brokers/Realtors” This egocentric firm thinks this is OK to advertise EXCLUSIVE!   Just to set the record straight on law…one of the largest RE Brokers in NYC, Corcoran Group has sent out a memo.  The Memo is about the use of discriminatory words.. over 200 “Dirty Words”, these are discriminating words for real estate professionals according to NY Department State, Licensing Division & Attorney General’s office. (click on the FYI to see video)   FYI Exclusive, Walking Distance, Family Friendly, etc.  article in the newspaper today.

My firm Beaudoin Realty Group (BRG) practices as ”TRUSTED EXPERTS.”  We Treasure Jackson Height and hope one day others will Discover its’ cOmmunity & housing stock’s value.  Our repeat clients and customers understand we are here to benefit Jackson Heights Historic District and vicinity’s.  Our loyal patrons are owners and buyers, who keep being sent to us.  We are here as professional realtors; to protect, educate and assist our neighbors in acquiring afforadable housing with rich architecture.  We are  Multiple Listing Agents (MLS)  who share our real estate listings with more than 500 offices from LIC to Montauk & Orient Point. We are a cooperating office of professional Realtors.  We as MLS personelle have more chances to make a transaction happen for our clients and customers.  During these hard times we are riding the wave to keep Jackson Heights an active historic community.

Recently, on NY 1 there was an interview with agents from Long Island City . (Click on Long Island City)  LIC has overbuilt new construction type of housing stock.  As a result there are many empty spaces with lots of incentives given by the builders.

Queens Small Businesses met yesterday to discuss the challenges for the next year.  Bill Thompson, City of NY Comptroller was the key notespeaker who addressed the challenges for small businesses.

If you have a job feel lucky, if you have not lost all your money feel lucky and good luck in this hard economic downturn.  As my Mom always told me: “This will shall pass too!”
